Alay Home Care is offering a $20.50-$28 / hour pay rate and offers the following great benefits :

Alay Home Care is a DDD Provider established in 2018. Since opening, we have serviced over 300 consumers throughout New Jersey.

We're devoted to supporting individuals with Developmental Disabilities by providing Direct Care Staff in the Home and Community Settings.

Our team has been in the home care industry for over 22 years, consisting of a group of highly experienced and knowledgeable team members.

Our Mission is to empower individuals with developmental disabilities to set and achieve life goals by being self-directed, healthy and live a meaningful life.

Requirements :

Valid CPR / First Aid Certification

Training :

College of Direct Support - Online classes for DDD Certifications

Preferred

Vehicle for Community Transport

1-year Behavioral Experience

Responsibilities :

Care - Activities of Daily Living; Such as ability to run errands, meal preparation, house cleaning, getting dressed, taking medication and other items required for daily life.

Companionship - providing emotional and social support.

Mentorship - mentoring in the areas of academic and career development, employment, psychosocial health and quality of life, transition, and life skills.

Community Support - assistance necessary to support living and inclusion in the community, and to prevent isolation or segregation from the community.

Behavioral Support - help individuals understand, manage, and modify their behaviors in positive ways.

Medication A dministration - practice of administering medication involves providing the patient with a substance prescribed and intended for the diagnosis, treatment, or prevention of a medical illness or condition.
